Formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, or fragrance. This palette is vegan. 

This palette has a mirror and eyeshadow base protector that needs to be removed in order to function properly. Our packaging is made of over 25% recycled materials. The mirror protector is 100% upcycled and therefore may have flaws on it.  When you open the box, there may be a chemical smell from the packaging. This smell is a UV coat that we used to protect the palette from minor scratches and will fade over time. Please refer to the "what is upcycling" tab for more details. Due to the handcrafted marbling process, (marbling is created through a unique swirling process), no two products will look exactly the same. The marble pattern on the packaging will have its own one of a kind pattern.

Perform a patch test before using a new product. Patch testing involves applying a small amount of the product to the skin where you're unlikely to wash it away. Leave the product on the patch of skin for as long as it would normally be on the skin when wearing the product,  to see if a reaction develops. Repeat for 7 to 10 days as a reaction may not happen immediately, so it is important to continue applying the product for this length of time. Please discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear.

Cancellations: accepted within 1 hour of placing your order. We are unable to change or add anything to your order.  If you need to cancel after 1 hour of order placement, there is $7.00 charge, however, please note that cancellation is not guaranteed. This includes preorders. We are also unable to cancel an order if your order shipped or is placed in our shipping queue. Please make sure that your order is accurate. Once your order has shipped or is placed in our shipping queue, it cannot be changed or cancelled.

If your order is refunded, it may take up to 10 business days, Monday through Friday to process the refund. The time frame depends on your banking institution.

Cosmetics: We do not accept returns on any cosmetic/makeup item due to the nature of the product. All orders from Adept Cosmetics Global ship from our warehouses in China with a processing time of between 1 and 6 business days, Monday through Friday. By shipping from China, you save over $35 in shipping charges. Your order will dispatch from either Hong Kong, Shanghai or Shenzhen. Please be aware that delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday! 

NEW! If you're located in the EU, all orders ship with VAT included via International Economy with tracking number. The €3 duty fee (per item) is not included and will be collected by your government prior to delivery. There is also a reminder of this fee at checkout. All orders going to Norway and Switzerland ship via International Economy, with tracking number, DAP. DAP means that your governing body will collect duties , tariffs, and taxes prior to delivery. If the duties, tariffs and taxes are not paid, the package will be abandoned by the carrier. The order will not be eligible for any refunds should this occur and you will be charged an additional $24.00 abandonment fee to the payment method on file.  

UK, Asia, South America, and everywhere else: Orders under $100 ship DDP via International Economy with tracking number. DDP means delivered with duties already paid on your behalf. Delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday. Orders totaling $100 or more (before shipping and taxes) ship via International Economy, with tracking number, DAP. DAP means that your governing body will collect duties , tariffs, and taxes prior to delivery. If the duties, tariffs and taxes are not paid, the package will be abandoned by the carrier. The order will not be eligible for any refunds should this occur and you will be charged an additional $24.00 abandonment fee. Delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday. Sometimes the carrier returns the package to us. If this occurs you will be charged a $15.00 restocking fee as well as a return shipping of around $9.00 (depending on your location).

Upcycling means creating something new from discarded materials by repairing, refurbishing, or repurposing them. This process is done by machine and by hand and therefore there may be various "flaws" in the packaging that cannot be avoided during the making process. We also use upcycled metal to create our magnetic pans. Please be aware of this before purchasing as we do not issue refunds for packaging manufacturing flaws.

Though we can't do this with all of our products, we try and upcycle most of our products. Our foam is corn based and biodegradable over time. Over 40% of our mirrors are refurbished. Once an item has been upcycled, it cannot be recycled because plastics can only be recycled once or twice before they can no longer be of use. Note: When you open the box/palette, there may be a chemical smell from the packaging. This smell is a UV coat that we used to protect the palette as well as the foam and will fade over time.  It is a necessary part of making an uncycled product "look pretty".

Upcycling has no effect on the eyeshadow formula itself. All shades are removable and magnetic and can be stored in most magnetic palettes.
