EMO Adept

• A magnetic palette with holes in the back so you can easily pop out the shades or rearrange them to your liking. (See sixth photo)
• This palette contains extremely sparkly, very high pearl shimmers, including two multichromes, three holochromes, two duochromes and two multi dimensional shimmers -all of which consist of various textures. There are 6 buildable and blendable matte shades included to compliment your look. This new formula is thinner and more elegant than our older palettes from last year - similar to Minka 2025. 
• Please note, these eyeshadows may appear to be glitters, however,  this is a 100% glitter free eyeshadow palette with a unique, large pearl formula. Also note that shades Sea Foam and Backdraft are repeat shades from our discontinued House of El palette (Lara Van-el and Kara Zor-el). The formula of these shades have been updated and may appear differently in the pan, but will look similar on the eyes. 
• EMO Adept is vegan and does not contain glitter, parabens or BHT. We are continuing our efforts to remain vegan, therefore, the following shades are pressed pigments and not considered safe for eye use in the USA (they are safe to use around the eye area if you're in the EU, Canada or Asia): Grayble, Storm, MC1, Light Touch, Another Holo, Blackened Brown and Backdraft. Please use caution and follow the patch testing rules below prior to use.
• To maintain shimmer, color performance and formula consistency,  please keep this palette in a cool and dry place.
• The shimmers work best when applied with the fingers vs. a brush. Please be sure to use a good primer to prevent fall out and minimize creasing - because there will be both with these types of shimmers. Depending on your skin type, the shimmers may crease on your lids. 
• This palette has a mirror and eyeshadow base protector that needs to be removed in order to function properly. Our packaging is made of over 75% recycled plastic. The mirror protector is 100% upcycled and therefore may have flaws on it.  When you open the box, there may be a chemical smell from the packaging. This smell is a UV coat that we used to protect the palette from minor scratches and will fade over time. Please refer to the "what is upcycling" tab for more details. 
• Note: variations in color settings, lighting and qualities of phone/tablet/computer screens, etc. may cause colors to appear different in person. Duochromes and multichromes may appear differently on the skin versus what's in the pan. Please use our product photos as a reference guide only.

Cancellations: accepted within 1 hour of placing your order. We are unable to change or add anything to your order.  If you need to cancel after 1 hour of order placement, there is $7.00 charge, however, please note that cancellation is not guaranteed. This includes preorders. We are also unable to cancel an order if your order shipped or is placed in our shipping queue. Please make sure that your order is accurate. If your order is refunded, it may take up to 10 business days, Monday through Friday to process the refund. The time frame depends on your banking institution.

Cosmetics: We do not accept returns on any cosmetic/makeup item due to the nature of the product. All orders from Adept Cosmetics Global ship from our warehouses in China with a processing time of between 1 and 5 business days, Monday through Friday. By shipping from China, you save over $35 in shipping charges. Your order will dispatch from either Hong Kong, Shanghai or Shenzhen. Please be aware that delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday! 

Orders totalling under $100 (before shipping and taxes) will ship via International Economy DDP with tracking number. DDP means delivered with duties already paid on your behalf. Delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday.

All orders going to Norway ship via International Economy, with tracking number, DAP. DAP means that your governing body will collect duties , tariffs, and taxes prior to delivery. If the duties, tariffs and taxes are not paid, the package will be abandoned by the carrier. The order will not be eligible for any refunds should this occur and you will be charged an additional $24.00 abandonment fee to the payment method on file. 

Orders totaling $100 or more (before shipping and taxes) ship via International Economy, with tracking number, DAP. DAP means that your governing body will collect duties , tariffs, and taxes prior to delivery. If the duties, tariffs and taxes are not paid, the package will be abandoned by the carrier. The order will not be eligible for any refunds should this occur and you will be charged an additional $24.00 abandonment fee. Delivery may take up to 30 business days, Monday through Friday. Sometimes the carrier returns the package to us. If this occurs you will be charged a $15.00 restocking fee as well as a return shipping of around $9.00 (depending on your location). 

You will see at checkout whether your order qualifies for DDP or DDU.

Upcycling means creating something new from discarded materials by repairing, refurbishing, or repurposing them. This process is done by machine and by hand and therefore there may be various "flaws" in the packaging that cannot be avoided during the making process. We also use upcycled metal to create our magnetic pans. Please be aware of this before purchasing as we do not issue refunds for packaging manufacturing flaws.

Though we can't do this with all of our products, we try and upcycle most of our products. Our foam is corn based and biodegradable over time. Over 40% of our mirrors are refurbished. Once an item has been upcycled, it cannot be recycled because plastics can only be recycled once or twice before they can no longer be of use. Note: When you open the box/palette, there may be a chemical smell from the packaging. This smell is a UV coat that we used to protect the palette as well as the foam and will fade over time.  It is a necessary part of making an uncycled product "look pretty".

Upcycling has no effect on the eyeshadow formula itself. All shades are removable and magnetic and can be stored in most magnetic palettes.
